Houses become rooms when the paper hangs straight
A homeowner spends weeks selecting a wallpaper. The pattern, the colourway, the order quantity, the room it will live in. The installation itself often takes one or two days and decides everything: whether the paper looks like a designer piece or a do-it-yourself afternoon. Our residential service is built around that single fact.
We work room by room, one drop at a time, with floor coverings down before any tool comes out of the case. Furniture is moved or covered, switch plates removed, lighting checked under raked light so the wall is read the way it will be read once you live with it.
Materials we are most often asked to hang
Designer non-woven papers from European and US mills, paper-backed grasscloths, silks and cork, custom-printed murals on smooth or textured stocks, and the occasional run of vintage paper from a client's archive. Each material has a different paste, a different open time, and a different smoothing tool. We carry them all.
How we protect the rest of your home
Hard floors are covered with rosin paper and breathable drop cloths; carpets get a clean polythene followed by canvas. We tape transitions cleanly so dust does not migrate. Our cuts are made on a folding bench, never on your floor. At the end of every day the room is left tidy, paste containers sealed, and tools stored in their cases.
What you should expect from us
One lead installer for the entire project, a written specification of the paste and primer we will use on your specific paper, photos sent at the end of every working day, and a final raked-light walk-through. If something is not right, we fix it before we pack up.
